Well as you might have guessed, my name is Michael Sainz. I’ve been an IT Pro Evangelist before the industry coined the term…seriously. I think it was in 7th grade. I’ve always been involved with the IT industry at some level…really its not a job but a passion of mine.

As with any technologist, I am always learning. Always searching for that little nugget of information that will help me complete the solution. Along the way I’ve picked up my MCP/MCSA/MCTS and have recently achieved my MCITP in Enterprise Support. I’m also a MS Small Business Specialist. Really in all seriousness though, in the end, it’s not the credentials that make who I am, it’s the experiences. I’ve seen some crazy networks and have had the privilege to work with some amazing people.

On the personal front, I’m 30 and loving the husband/father role. Two daughters who are simply the best little girls a dad could have.

So what do I do professionally? I am the Solutions Architect for End User Computing technologies at Slalom Consulting. Our Advanced Infrastructure Services - Seattle practice has several disciplines which include Identity & Access Management, Data Center Solutions, End User Computing and CIO Advisory Services. In short, any technology that involves the end user, I design and deploy solutions leveraging them.
